Check out a hermit crab website they have lots of answers and some even answer questions like that. Or ask a pet store if you can find one with knowledge about hermits and lizards

Here are some good ones: Green Anole: tank, heat lamp, UVB light, foliage, hide, mister, thermometer, humidity gauge Long Tailed Lizard: same as above Fire belly newt: they need either a half-water/half-land or a full-water with a resting dock. Regardless, you will need a filter, foliage, and a hide Though, some may say, a leopard gecko can live in a 10 gallon.... they can't. It is way to small. A 8" lizard in a 12" tank? With 2-3 hides? A water bowl and food bowl? No.

I would do it they live in diffrent habbitats. also hermit crabs eat any thing that fits near thier mouth so if you hermits big enough it may just grab your anole and crunch down on it.
