I have a bunch of questions that our science teacher has asked us to answer by monday. If you know any of these please tell me because I can't find the answers anywhere.

1) Which planet has 16 moons?
2) Where is the largest mountain in the solar system?
3) Which planet has a north pole that receives direct sunlight during its summer season?
4) What is the force of gravity between Jupiter and Earth?
5) What did Galileo name the four moons of Jupiter that he discovered in 1610?

Thanks for the help! :D

1) Your teacher's data may be out of date. There is no planet that has exactly 16 moons. Earth has 1, Mars has 2, Jupiter has 63, Saturn has 60, Uranus has 27, and Neptune has 13. You can get details about them here:

2) Mount Olympus (or "Olympus Mons"), on Mars.

3) I'm guessing Venus... Venus has a retrograde rotation.

4) The force of gravity between Jupiter and Earth is the force created by the masses of the two planets which attract one another.

5) Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto

You can find ALL of these answer by using the Google search engine, and then making sure you only rely on answers from reputable sites, such as ones ending in .edu or .gov

You could also find these answers quite easily by going to your local library. If you need help finding the proper books, ask a Librarian. That's what they're there for and they will help you.

You might also try reading your science text book.

Once again, I will not do someone's homework for them. These are all easy questions and you should have no trouble finding the answers.

Hi. Uranus is tilted almost on its side so the north pole gets direct sunlight for a part of its orbit. The south pole gets it half an orbit later. http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=Uranus&gwp=13
The largest mountain is Olympus Mons on Mars. http://www.answers.com/Olympus+Mons?cat=technology&gwp=13
