Okay, so I am 27 and don't want kids. When people ask me if I have kids and I say no, or I say I don't want kids, they tell me that I have to or that I'll change my mind. This one lady asked me who is going to take care of me when I am old? What do you say to such people? It's really annoying and I dont' feel like I should have to defend myself. Any other women experience this?

You aren't obligated to answer personal questions. What I've done for years is vaguely reply, "Maybe I will..." and change the subject. Or, "You'll be the first to know!" and change the subject. I see no reason to get into a discussion or argument with people who have no business in my life. I don't think these people mean any harm, they simply need to be deflected.

Tell them you are sterile from being violated as a child, thanks for reminding me. Or you already had three but child services took them away for being a psychotic that attacked people when they asked stupid questions. Well, you know what I mean, come up with a good burn that will put them in their place if it is something that annoys you so much. Otherwise ignore them, they really aren't worth the energy. Oh, and sorry but I am not a woman.
