One of my best friends is just like Rodney Marsh, says things very much tongue in cheek, just to get a reaction, I laugh and do not take it seriously in any way, but when he says a similar thing about giving birth, and I quote: 'didn't hurt me a bit' or ' god she made such a fuss' his wife and I usually say 'OK, say that when you can sh*t a bowling ball without screaming !!' well, we just laugh !!.
I think we all take life waaay to seriously.

curiously Rodney Marsh is an ex-footballer who became sacked from a Sky activities programme for making an unfunny 'humorous tale' with reference to the Asian tsunami. He tried to make a pun out of Toon military and tsunami yet for sure had no concept of the human suffering brought about by applying the tsunami. It became in unfavorable flavor, yet i do no longer think of political correctness had something to do with it.

Well yesterday an attractive young woman delivered my skip. Two women painted my house recently. I prefer our woman dentist and our lady doctor is excellent. Admittedly we can't come up with much more than Tracy Emin these days. Maggi Thatcher was not a mouse when it came to running the country and Rodney Marsh is living in a time warp!

I don't really understand what political correctness is. It seems that its just another phrase to justify racist bigoted behaviour. Every time someone says something about political correctness you just know that in the following sentence there will be some kind of reference to views that most sensible people find abhorant.

It all depends on how you put your point across . There are some folks around who are just downright rude and cruel in order to put their case
I don't know what Rodney has been involved in recently , but I certainly thought he was harshly treated by SKY a couple of years ago when he lost his position with them for a pretty inoffensive remark .
He has been greatly missed on Soccer Saturday since them , and when you compare him to some of those guys we have to put up with now he is streets ahead in entertainment , and knowledge of the game.

Rodney Marsh is a vile, bigoted, misogynistic, immature pillock.
That's why Sky Sports sacked him. That's why Talksport radio sacked him.
