2(-5y^3)^2 + (-3y^3)^3

I believe that's very much simplified? Just kidding.. Haha..

2(-5y^3)^2 + (-3y^3)^3
= 2(25y^6) + (-27y^9)
= 50y^6 - 27y^9
= y^6 (50 - 27y^3)

2 (( -5y)^3)^2 + ((-3y)^3)^2

First, take care of the exponents. When one exponent is raised to another power, multiply them

For example, ( 2 ^ 4 ) ^ 3 = 2 ^ 12

2 ( -5y)^6 + (-3y)^6

Now distribute the exponents.

For example, (2 * 3)^6 = 2^6 * 3^6

2 ( -5^6)(y^6) + (-3^6)(y^6)

Now we can multiply the numbers and combine like terms

2 (15625)(y^6) + (729)(y^6)

31250 y^6 + 729 y^6

31979 y^6
