Christmas has always been my favorite holiday because that the one time of the year when the focus really should be on someone other then ones self.
Christmas is more about giving of yourself then the presents or at lease that's the way it should be. Christmas is just different, I believe it's the one time when we can step back from our life and say to those we've not seen for most of the year "Hey I'm here let's spend some time together."

Christmas! It's not for the gifts, though. It used to bring up some bad memories, until I learned to focus on the true meaning of it -- AND the music. I truly love the seasonal hymns -- especially "O Holy Night". What's the true meaning, you ask? Read Luke 2:1-40 (especially verses 25-32). That part of the story always stirs my heart.

i like a lot of holidays but my fave one would have to be Christmas because it is Jesus birthday. and i like the Christmas spirit wen u get to go out into all the crowded stores to buy Christmas gifts, but it is also so fun because i get to be with my family and have fun with them. and it is so fun waking up at 4:00 in the morning to open Christmas gifts. i just love EVERYTHING about Christmas!
my second fave holiday would have to be thanksgiving because i have an excuse to pig out! lol

Really, its always been Thanksgiving. My family would go to my Great Aunt's house in Ossining, NY every year growing up. Everyone was there. My favorite memory of this was the HUGE selection of pies. My Grandmother and Mother would make pumpkin pie and pecan pie, my Aunt Waynie would make Mince Meat Pie, Cherry Pie, and Blueberry Pie. Aunt Velma would bring her FABULOUS Lemon Meregue Pie, I think it was Aunt Claire who made the Sweet Potato Pie.
Oh what fun it was growing up!

My Birthday because I feel like the only special one in my birthday. Of course, sometimes it gets really annoying being the one in my birthday with all the attention. No one wants to much attention at a point that they can't stand the attention.

Christmas because all my family comes together and everyone is so happy and well jolly. It's a time where we celebrate our religion but also all that we have together. It's fun to give gifts to your friends and family and see their reaction on their face. I also like to get gifts but it doens't matter to me what i get because really it's just great that they thought of me and got me something they thought i would like. It is really all about thinking about others and giving. Also it's the only time of year you get eggnog. and drink hot chocolate
