My Step-Mom is making a turkey breast, not the whole thing because there is only going to be 4 people at our dinner. We are also going to have mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. When I asked her what she wanted me to bring she said rolls. So I get to bring those.

It's going to be turkey, at my uncles like we've always eaten for the past ten years (the last five I was living in my mom's hometown in Frankfurt Germany). We never have anything else but turkey and a couple surprise side dishes. My family is not the kind to try things new and different, I'm different that way though.
Ah, oh well

I have not decided yet, and since this is the big grocery pre Xmas shopping day, I'm going to be picking over the leftovers at the grocery! I am not a big fan of turkey, and it's just me here, last year I did a turkey breast, and was still eating turkey 6 months later.
A patient asked me last night what I was having, and I said I was considering crab legs, and I wound arrange them in the shape of a turkey. She laughed, as was my goal.
Thanks Melzie, I almost forgot the rolls!
Whatever I do, it will have to include mashed potatoes, made with real butter and cream. I have been dying for some, and I have some stove top and some turkey gravy in the pantry, just in case.

Were having Thanksgiving at my house and yes, were buying a turkey. My dad is cooking it while I'm making the stuffing (found a great recipe in a cookbook), my aunts and uncles are bringing over vegetable dishes, side dishes, and my older cousin is making pumpkin pie. We also ordered a cheesecake for dessert.
