No but I know that it has to be painful if they don't say it back. When you open yourself up and express your feelings it's painful when the person doesn't reciprocate.

For sure. My current crush (the one that matters most) knows I love Him deeply.
I'd give His looks a 7 but His banging personality, a 10(+). We are so similar in so many damn ways, it's eery, but a turn-on, nonetheless!! <3
Overall, I told Him this morning that out of 10, I'd give my want for a serious, committed, no-dicking around relationship WITH HIM a 9.
He in return before He asked, "R U mad??" said He'd give our possibility and His interest a 4.
I was floored to say the least!! Not at all angry (I LOVE Him and would marry Him B4 this life is over, if I could) but very, very, sorely disappointed...=(
So yeah. I know what You are talking about. For real though.
EDIT: Nico! Why haven't You edited Your profile and allowed us to e-mail You???
(Kicks Your e-Butt)
>;^D
P.S. Might be sad (I don't think so) but I would give My life for this guy, and We only know each other online...

no, never.....i pray it never happens. yes, it more than hurts. they might really do, it just depends on the situation in which it was said....maybe it was unintentional cos they didn't know how much that means to you.....yes, there is a need to hear those words and it means so much- it all varies though.
it is necessary for someone to know what is expected of another person to acknowledge they are loved.

Yes. I know what you mean. I keep saying it to the squirrel in my back yard, but no response. I mean, I say it over and over again. I think the squirrel is very uncaring. He could at least say it once! The squirrel is always saying it loves me, but it doesn't specifically say I love you! Obviously I am crushed. Maybe I will ask YA people for a serious answer.

At times in my life I've had this happen, and your right it doesn't feel good. But not everyone can reciprocate with those words if they don't feel the same.
I have a big heart and I'm one that tends to love those closest to me easily, if feel people need that happiness in there life.
It always feels good to be loved, in someway, makes you feel better even if it's not appreciated at the moment, we notice it when it's not there.
Good One

Yes ... my EX (which is another of the MANY reasons he IS an Ex). You know, the ONLY thing he 'loved' out of that short disaster of a marriage was the THINGS that MY Savings/Earnings could purchase ... it was certainly NOT me (especially since he did abuse me AND the toddler children too -- and was convicted of that abuse).

It's to the point I won't say it anymore. It hurts too much when they're ignored.
