Your router should be connected to your ISP's Internet device, such as a dsl or cable modem. Make sure that you have an Internet connection to begin with by bypassing your router then plugging directly into the modem device. If this works then you may have to contact your ISP and find out if there are any specific settings that need to be configured on your router for it to be compatible with the modem.

Cycles the power on your cable modem and your router and leave them unplugged for atleast 15 seconds. Unplug them both at the same time and then the modem and then the router.

Try reinputting the password to your internet if you have one, or take the power off the router and reboot it again, phones and other appliances can also interfere with your wireless reception, also distance as well.
