They are just not strong enough. Remember the Colorado Silver Bullets, the all female baseball team? This was supposed to be the best female players. I saw them play and it took two cutoff throws to get the ball from the outfield to home plate. Even if you had an all female baseball league, you would need to make the field smaller to make it a good game.

There are no rules against it. We have just not seen one get there. Being a youth baseball coach, I see girls attempt to play baseball all the time, but they usually turn to softball by age 14 or 15. The boys start to get bigger and stronger at that point.

There is no rule prohibiting it - there have even been a couple women who have been drafted or played in the minors. None have ever made it to the major leagues.

If you can find a woman who can throw a 95mph fastball or hit a ball into the upper deck, let the MLB scouts know. Surely, some team would sign her.

There is nothing stopping them from playing in MLB. The physical strength is just not there to be competitive.

They dont have the physical strength to compete at the professional level. And if there are women who do have the physical strength which there are the odds of them being good enough to make the majors are very slim.

There is no rule saying they can't play. If they have the skills, they should go for it. Personally, I would love playing with women, on and off the field!!!

Quite simply no woman has ever pushed and tried. Institutionally it would be difficult as girls are siphoned off into softball in high school and are never really given a chance once they get out of little league.
