i personaly a bit about them, but i want to know more....What if my 2 male guppies dont want to mate with my 2 female guppies, becoz non of the males seem to be interested in my females. The females go up to them and touch 1 of the males and the female eats the male's poo...What does that mean?? The thing i want to know is: What if the male doesnt fancy / like the female and doesnt want to breed with her?? Does that ever happen???
Thanks

Almost never. The problem is more than likely water quality. Either the water is dirty(test for Ammonia,Nitrite and Nitrate) or the water is so soft and acid to begin with that the guppies can't breed in it(not very likely, but possible). Another possibility is temperature, but it would have to be very wrong to affect the male guppies' breeding instinct. Normally healthy, happy males will court anything that moves.
My point is that there is something very wrong in the tank, and this usually means water quality or conditions.

Hi,
Well I'm 99% sure your female is already pregnant. You can find that out if she has a large round belly and a black spot on her belly. This is really easy to identify too. Female guppies are 99% always pregnant when bought in fish stores. Im 80% sure your guppies will mate, they are one of the easiest fish to breed. I my self have guppies too, and they already mated in the first day i bought them. Also all the females were pregnant too. If you are interested in having alot of guppies buy 2 females and in 1 year you should probally end up with 30 or more. They breed like crazy and i bet you'll want to give them away soon. Dont worry about anything. Also if you have babies do this:
- Get lots of plants to hide your fry from mother, or else he/she will eat the baby fry.
- Get a breeding trap if you want to breed, and put in the V-insert. You can buy this at any pet store.
- Feed baby fry very crushed up flake food and BBS(baby brine shrimp) or other frozen food.
You are ready and i hope i helped you!
