I don't want to bore any one with a question that is to long, so should I limit it to ten words or less?

Yup. When I go to answer a question if it's to long 9 times out 10 I won't read it. Short is good.

I think a question with no more than five sentences in enough, although people should not make their sentences too long. People tend not to read the whole question when it's too wordy (I know I do).

I must say that when i see a long question i read a little bit of it and get pretty board, but i will still answer the question.

no one can compete with 10... words. bring it down to the average of 5-6

Ha! This is perfect. I don't like the ones that are more than a paragraph because this is fun for me. I don't want to have to analyze my answers, just answer and move on!

If the question makes sense then yes the shorter the better.
