Mark A what credibility do you have now? America is looking like a laughing stock now where as before the war looked like a power house.

Yeah, cut and run and see who comes a running after us. 9-11 will have been a walk in the park and pale in comparison, then "you all" can blame it on Bush as usual so you can cop out, and leave it up to REAL Americans who have the BALLS to step into a recruiters office. ---traitors. The last real Americans were during WW2 when we were attacked unprovoked and you couldn't keep them out of the recruiters office. Now, all we have is a bunch of liberal wussies willing to protest the very freedoms our troops GIVE them, even after 4 tours, sacrificing their family life and even limbs and life. Just so some idiot can make a movie knocking and endangering the very ones that give him the freedom to do so. Hypocrits. Does THAT sound "fair"? NOBODY likes war as we didn't ASK for it, but we gotta do it or die in our own homes here. I GLADLY give my $ to support our troops and keep the carnage off American soil. Unlike Europe, we've been lucky so far.
God, you snot-nosed liberal wussies are a wonder in the making.

nicely, Obama rightly pledged a withdrawal from Iraq, so as that 70% could be extremely satisfied. yet i ask your self how many favour withdrawal from Afghanistan, although? Judging by applying the consumers of this difficulty, tragically no longer many. maybe they're going to replace their minds while they understand that no usa (including the States) will ever prevail there. Now watch because of the fact the *unthinking* (there are some questioning ones) patriots of Uncle Sam supply me the thumbs down. Oh nicely, somebody has to place the opposing view i think.

The reason we continue to stay in the war is because just pulling out and running would open the door to more terrorist attacks like 9/11. If you would pay attention to the situation and the kind of people that we are fighting against, you would understand this. But instead all you want to do is complain about all of the money that is being spent on the war and protecting our freedom and safety. Why don't you send thank you letters to the soldiers rather than complaining about the war.

We have been taught that we won the class wars and that the system of rule was from the bottom up and the Presidents and so on represent you the little guy Hard work sets you free etc

But there is still a "socio - economic" class system and less than 1% are the rich elite "ruling class" And we all aim for that bench mark most never make it past the middle class

Now 70 % of the American people are against war - but the government who represents corperate interests that own the major news outlets says it is crucial we go

The people have been overuled by someone who knows better than the people who pay his wages and die in the wars for him

70 % of the people want this and the leaders tell us we are not qualified and we acept that

We acept that we need to be lead and that this special class of person knows better than us to decide these matters that may involve you people down there -

We know it is the truth and - this is how 70% of the tax paying public can be wrong and need to just keep paying for it and dieing in it for us because they know better

Cause it's not so simple to unscramble an egg. We went in cause Saddam was bluffing about WMD's to scare Iran away from attacking his regime.
Now Iran has the same intentions and the situation is unstable.
What are we to do? We got involved we need to see it through to an acceptable ending.
Even Hillary said there will be some troops till 2013.....

They lied to the people about the reason for going to war,so what is the reason they want to stay.I think it is more to do with having a stronger hold in the middle east.Remember Iran is just next door, not to far to send troops if god forbid"They start sabre rattling".

Almost everyone wants to end the war. That does not mean everyone wants to lose the war, or pull out and let the radicals mass murder and cause chaos in the middle east.

Almost no one I work with or know wants to cut and run. Most of my friends want to accomplish what we went there for, and our repesentatives in congress voted for.

A larger percentage of the people voted for Al
Gore for President over George Bush, also. But you see who's in the White House. It's time for "the people" to take it back.

If a poll came out in the middle of WWII, I can guarantee a large % of the US would have wanted us out of the war as well.

The only way we can leave is with a win, if not, our crdibility will be shot and Islamofacism will continue to spread around the world.
