I'm staying home, but it's not to bake pies...
It's my first day off after a hectic week at work.. so I'm doing laundry and cleaning the house...in my jammies and at my own pace... with coffee, of course!

Back at Ya. I'm staying home today to do a whole house deep cleaning before the hordes of people show up on thursday.As usuall, I do all the work,cooking,cleaning and shopping. My husband helps by staying out of my way, he means well though.

No pie baking for me today. Have a choice of what to do that I have yet to prioritize. No money = no shopping so that is an easy one to take off the list. lol

I believe .. at least the ones I have talked too stated they are starting on their cakes and pies on monday or tuesday so by friday they will be finish..

no shopping for me, too many women out shopping while the men are out deer hunting. I have a great apple pie already in the freezer, one I bought from a fundraiser and it is delicious! I will make a pumpkin cheesecake on Wednesday.

I don't like Thanksgiving. It celebrates when the Native Americans were nice to us and then we shot them and drove them out of "our" land. Plus I'm a pescevegeterian, so no turkeys for me.
It's a nice family holiday, but...argh.
