And people are still allowed to smog up our air with their big polluting SUV's. And use aerosol cans that delete our ozone. And create wars, so our young people will enlist "thinkin" it's God's will. And overeat until their heart betrays them and arrests. And drink, till their livers shrivel. What really assists in mental and physical suicide is the hate and intolerance of others. Not naming names........

How did God come into this debate? "Does God want the smoking style of suicide?" i in my opinion can't see the relationship. yet on your techniques, it is what the Bible says approximately God's want because it pertains to well-being : 3Jo a million:2 cherished, I pray that for the period of all issues thou mayest prosper and be in well-being, on a similar time as thy soul prospereth. it somewhat is the recent testomony. The previous testomony has plenty greater to declare on well-being. So, the final theory is that we abstain from that which will harm our well-being. Smoking does that. for this reason, the Bible IS coaching that we don't smoke. sure, i understand there is not any particular command that asserts "Thou shalt no longer smoke".

Consider the absurdity of making suicide 'illegal' - does that mean if you're successful they then put you in jail?

As far as what "god" prefers, we all die. Some just chose the method.

I don't think that smoking should be illegal. But, exposing a non-smoker to one's second hand smoke should be.

So, I'm very happy that more and more localities are making it illegal to smoke in public places. Hopefully, one day, it will be federal law.

I hear you dude! I don't think God has a say in it, unfortunately. You can kill slow and painful if you have the approval of the FDA... I guess. :) Sad but true. One of the many inconsistencies of life, I presume.
