Mmmmmm! Yummers! This is completely a blast from the past for me! I used to live for cinnamon toast as a kid. But I haven't had it for about a million years. I remember we used to keep a small shaker of cinnamon and sugar mix in the cupboard when we had a craving.

I think I need to go rummage in the kitchen and find the fixins to make some right now. :-)

I love cinnamon toast. Just the warm cinnamon and brown sugar. Runny icing or grape jelly is what I like most on mine.

Warm with lots of melty butter.....and the secret is in the eating...you have to unwind it to the very center where most of the butter and cinnamon is saved for the last savory bite!

No I only like cinnamon on pancakes and pumkin fritters. Jam and cheese or Bovril on Toast.

Stale bread is better, butter the bread, dredge in a bowl of sugar & Cinnamon(II keep a bowl in the cabinet). Arrange on a cookie sheets so you can make plenty at one time. Bake 350 till a little toasty on the bottom. DON'T BURN IT!(although it is still good a little burnt!)
