you have a low pressure pump in the feul tank on this vehicle, you should have checked this first,,,,, the popping you hear is probably a lean misfire, pull the tank and fix it, good luck
by the way there is also an inline fuel filter in a round plastic case, unscrew this and check also, it is located on the inside frame rail close to the drivers door
morgan has a good point also do check the coil

Check that the SPOUT (SPark OUTput) connector has been plugged in, as it must be diconnected to set the timing.
The SPOUT connector is the little plug on the wires going into the TFI module on the distributor. You have to pull it out before setting the timing. Pulling it eliminates the timing advance function by disconnecting the ECU from the ignition system.
Check this site for SPOUT location

sure your oil stress sending unit is the two going out or clugged up.The sending unit is located by potential of the oil filter out.It appears like a small cylinder with one twine coming from the tip.Its a low priced area which you will get from any areas keep. All it does is unscrews from the block.

One thing I didn't see on the list of the many things you changed, the computer. It is the master controller of spark.
All the inputs go into it and it decides if and when to fire.
I got burned on this one once.
