Its fine to have it in the house as long as you and she are conscientious about washing your hands after handling the lizard. (oh and you are carefull to wash your hands after handling eggs and raw meat around both the woman and the lizard). I worked in the zoo and the main concern was salmonella - this could be very hazardous to a pregnant woman but can be solved with some good hand hygiene.

I have a savannah moniter and it hasn't posed any problems with my pregnancy. Except for the fact I have realized it stinks really bad. I never noticed that before my super strength senses kicked in. I would just say since it is a reptile wash hands after handling. Which should be done afterwards anyways. Also leave the cleaning of cage to someone else.

Reptiles typically carry ecol i or salmonella. As long as she isn't coming into direct contact with the lizard you should be okay. I'd also make sure the cage is covered to avoid anything airborne. Pregnant women tend to have a pretty strong immune system because their body naturally fights harder when carrying, but that's not an excuse to be careless. Just make sure she doesn't come into contact with the lizard or anything the lizard has come into contact with (this includes food dishes) and you should be fine.

As long as she's not cleaning the cage, or dealing with the poop. I think I've heard some lizards and animals carry diseases or germs that could harm her
Same goes for the kitty litter
have her speak to her doctor to make sure

It is safe, just make sure she dosen't touch it, or if she does, she needs to wash her hands good immediatley after. All reptiles can care salmanella. There in only a slight risk of her getting it, but why take chances.

It should be fine, and they actually make great pets! Just make sure that the pregnant woman washes her hands if she touched the lizard. But it should be fine.
