How come a TV set last over 20 years but we can't get a computer that last that long. Does it have some to do with the data we put in?

You probably use the monitor more and the brightness is turned up to high, cheap components for the budget priced ones.

TV's and computers are WAAAY different. The only thing a TV has in common with a computer is the computer's monitor.

I think its cuz things all got so disposable they make them that way on purpose...GOOD question though...
Also virus mess it up..or we do so many different things on it other than just turn it off and on....

It just gets downloaded on and spam and viruses.
