I found this picture, it's an advertisement for T-shirts. Please take a look at the picture and tell me, is this supposed to be a real human person or is the photo "cartoonized"? I mean those legs can not be real! They are set way too far apart. And looking at the girls implied figure, this is just not humanly possible.

But I think it is being presented to us as a real human being. If so, this is disgusting! This is the reason girl become anorexic. If they think that there is any way a healthy person could look anything like that.

Can't believe this image was used for an AD!! It's like promoting this unhealthy image of sticks instead of people. If I were you I would complain to the company. Anyone who thinks that this girl doesn't need to get to a hospital straight away is sick and I wouldn't leave them alone with young boys. Any man attracted to that is obviously one step away from pedophilia.

photoshopped definately. though the gap isnt really that big. if u look at the angle of the right leg and imagine where her crotch ends, it could easily join up with just a little gap.

though, these pictures are encouraging young teenagers to eat less, worry about their weight and sometimes develop eating disorders. whether its real or not, it still portrays an image of supposed perfection.

if they were surrounded by images of healthy young girls, athletic, plump or whatever, so many teens would not be so self conscious about their image and would enjoy these years instaed of slave them away , trying to look good for others.

No. You should see what they can do with photoshopping these days. They prob took half a person and laid it over the other half of the person in order to make that girl look like she has a 2" waist.

Unfortunately,. most professional models these days appear with some kind of digital manipulation done to them, either to clear up blemeshis on their skin, make them look skinner, fix their noses, ears, eyes, give them bigger boobs or a smaller butt....you're right, it IS disgusting. The media's interpretation of beauty is becoming unattainable without surgery, and the pursuit of it extremely dangerous.

Yep, she looks real. I use Photoshop in my business, and I don't see it used there, at least in how the girl is shaped. Her pose is awkward, but she is doing what the photographer asked her to do.

Models have to look like freaks to make the clothes look good. You're really supposed to notice the t-shirt (which looks comfortable).

It could be just the way she is posing but it does have a cartoonish or computerized effect
