Before you answer, ask yourself this Q first: If anyone were to look up your Q&A profile and examine your philosophy A's which attitude do you think prevails there?

In philosophy, reasons or some kind of explanations are usually offered in a complete answer. At least that is my expectation.

Unable to verify " both" when the Answerers Q&A is private. Generally both is a meaningless word w/o explanation. Where is the cooperation in that?

" Adversarial and cooperative are not mutually exclusive," Nobody has implied otherwise. Which is dominant for you and why?

Interesting question!

I am more of a cooperative type. As an answerer i try to broaden my mind to consider and decipher questions that are sometimes vague. I try to consider that there are people here whose English are their second language just like me. I try to think deeply in order to connect with the asker. If i cannot really understand the question i simply leave the question unanswered. Am not the type of person that attacks questions rudely. If ever i say it in a nice manner for any person here deserves to be respected and with courtesy. However there are really some who are so insensitive. Different folks different strokes. Some are really frank enough to say things outright and point blank. Personal differences and culture i supposed. What matters most for me is the good exchange of ideas. You learn through reciprocity.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

Adversarial and cooperative are not mutually exclusive, for rain or sunshine can occur together. It would just depend on the kind of question asked. Let's face it, adversarial answers can happen all the time if there's a heated discussion about an important topic. I must admit this is where our primordial aim to be civilized is put on the back burner and our savage nature takes over.

Additional Info: I tend to be a tad adversarial but generally stick to the issue.
