Good Morning!! I'm waking up at rediculously early hours for someone who likes to sleep til at least 10AM. It's 6:30 on the west coast.
Years ago, about age 30 it was livestock, Arabian horses, few cows, ducks, geese years ago. Now there's dog stock to take care of. Time to let everybody out(in 3 separate batches) feed and water them,(I make my own mostly raw food diet) get them settled back in for the day and breed the bit+ch and stud dog to make hopefully the nicest litter of pups I've ever had. I imported the sire from Brazil. His mom is a world champion. First time I met him, he spoke only Portuguese HA. I've had US champions but never a world champion. Beaultiful dog and soooo very sweet. Then I'll clean the kennels, do some grooming on them.
Things have changed. Used to hit the shower right from bed. Now I have a cup or three of coffee while I wait for the body to warm up and blood to circulate around the body to get the stifness under control.
Will be getting things together to fly to Laughlin NV. Have to make detailed instructions for the dog sitter. Have 2 10 week old puppies with their mom. Their grandmother dog is trying to get pregnant. I expect her litter to be maybe the nicest I've evere had. Great, great grandma dog is here and retired. She is still sleeping on the bed. Not an early riser either LOL. Good chance there is another litter on the way in about a month. Each litter should turn out to be lovely, beaultiful ldogs with good temperaments too.
Probably more than you wanted to know about dog livestock.I don't
I don't know about the best day of my life but certainly ready for a very good day.
I do plan to ride some horses around Laughlin to check out the trails and scenery around the mountains and Colorado River.
Have a good day all. I'm planning to.

My favorite part of the day is time I get to spend with the animals. Every morning I get up and let the dogs out, when I let them back in is when the fun starts!! Toby grabs the first toy he can find and comes running with Lacey and Fluffy following not far behind. They know it's play time!! I think we all enjoy our good-morning rough housing time. It's good for the blood and a great way to start the day!

All the "cows" on THIS ranch no longer require milking...and the only livestock needing feeding are my three grandsons, who are at the trough as we speak!!
(Lacey G makes me tired just GLANCING at her chore list!)

Livestock? You mean check the cats' food? Have coffee, read the paper, get dressed.
