Go for it. Tell Chris how sorry you are and how much you'll miss her company, but this oppourtunity is something big for you that you have to go for. Hopefully she'll understand, just promise her you'll still be tight, call her everyday, IM, communicate. Hope this helps!

This is one situation where you need to think about you. The opportunity to learn in a way that is more on par with your skill level is one you need to take. As you will find out in the future, there are times when you should think about your own well-being and try to cushion the blow for others, instead of not take it because of them. It is just a class in school and your friend Chris will be fine. She is a big girl and if you really get along well, you can find other time to socialize. But staying behind because of her could have some nasty consequences in the future (like if you are not friends for much longer and you become resentful of not moving). So please, move classes and make an effort to keep Chris in the loop, it will be okay for everyone involved.

Studying in a college, I'm 200 miles far off from my best friend right now. She cried at first, we know we just have to move on. But somehow, my other friends here and back there are so amazed by our strong friendship I still keep contacting her nowadays.
When I first knew her, she wasn't in my class either. So different we are the completion of each other. And since I knew her[and since i was in a better class] we studied together. SO different class won't kill your friendship, maybe got it even stronger than you'll think.

You Should not turn down the chance to move to a better class:
1) you may meeting new people in this class, and you could miss the opprotunity of finding a new friend
2) Your education is important, the better the class, the more you'll learn
3) If you stay, you are doing an injustice to your friend Chris...
Why?
Because you are robbing her of motivation to try harder.

i'd do issues to make you experience pleased with your self. flow donate a at the same time as at a homeless protect - study memories to childrens interior the most cancers ward - play piano, sing, study, pay interest, etc. at a retirement abode, volunteer to be a "massive sister" for an orphan. I assure none of those human beings will snort at you or make you experience inferior. in reality, it is going to likely be in basic terms the different. you'll develop into the "hero" of their lives. extra commonly than no longer, a hero seems to stroll taller and straighter and with extra self belief..... and a lot less neck soreness. Mahalo!

Move to the better class. It will help affect your future in school in a positive way. You can see Chris after school if your true friends like I think you are. The better class can open up many better learning opportunities so you should take it.

Go to the better class, your friend should be happy for you and just because you don't see each other in class doesn't mean you won't ever talk again

Yeah throughout life u will come across situations where u will have to loose touch with ur friends and choose ur career.
Mind it I said loose touch and not loose friends. And we always have to stick to career first rule. Trust me if she had this opportunity she would definately shift class.
You guys can still b good friends.

Move up. You can still be friends with Chris, but you owe it to yourself to get the best education possible.
