NY Yankees since around1970, when I was 4. As kids when we played stick-ball, we used to call our sides either Yankees or Mets. I was always on the Yankees side, but most of my friends were Mets' fans.

I've been a Red Sox fan since 1975 when I was 10 years old. I was born into it, but it really didn't click until I was 10. As a kid I went to tons of games every season, when it was affordable to do so. I've died with the Sox through all the misery only to come back every April with a smile and the hopes of a better year. I have to say, and this is something only a Sox fan would understand, that the Red Sox winning in 2004 was a moment I'll never forget. It was and still is one of the best times of my life. I attended the victory parade and saw old men crying, still not believing that the Red Sox finally did it. I'll never forget 2004. They truly have brought me so much happiness.

I have been a Yankee fan since 1970, age 8. My little league team was called the Yankees. I would have to hate to think what would have happened if my team was called the Red Sox & to any fans who says either team sucks, knows nothing about baseball. Would you call a team who hasn't had a losing season since 1993, a team that sucks, I wouldn't. I can't stand the Red Sox & for me to say they suck would be a total lie. Just because you don't like the Yankees doesn't mean they suck.

I'm from Dominican Republic, i have being a Yankees fan since middle 80's, most of the people hate the yanks because they spend too much money on players but the thing is that the Yanks sell almost they entire season before game one, they collect from merchandise, media and they pay a tax to MLB due to they huge payroll to help other teams, it is not they fault that they fans are willing to pay for what they like. Did you know that Boston was wiling to pay 24 Million to Clemmens, look how much they paid for Mazusaka, and that they have the worst relation ship with player after they leave the club, more than 7 players including Wade Bogs where inducted into the hall of fame and they said that will not enter to the hall of fame with the Red Sox cap, another one is Clemmens. Why do you think is that.

I don't know the exact amount of years, but I've been a Yankee fan for as long as I could remember. My grandfather would play ball with me and tell me about the greats. Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Yogi, and his favorite, Mickey Mantle. He would show me his old baseball card collection of past Yankees and taught me the traditions and history of the team. When I got older he would take me to the ballpark to see the Yankees every weekend. Good times.

I'm a Red Sox fan from NC. Personally I could take or leave baseball but I'm always excited when the Sox are in the post season...My mom's side of the family are die-hard Red Sox fans (coming from NH and Boston) so rooting for them came naturally. 15 years for me because that's when I first became interested in following the team.

I remember as a kid watching the Sox with my Dad. I never really understood the game, but it was cool to watch and sit with my Dad and cheer them on. He died in 2004... April, Never got to see them win the World Series. But, I felt him with me the night we won. As I did this year. Now, 43 years later I wouldn't dream of missing a game, and I thank my Dad for turning me into on of the biggest fans of the Boston Red Sox!!
