i have rose hip along the garden wall. the bees love the flowers in summer and the birds eat the big berry things in winter.

i used to feed those sparrows and then they actually knew me! Its an amazing thing to know that you can be that close to nature..unfortunately the place i live now doesnt have much birds around.

We have bird feeders on our deck year round. I have many types of birds around my house.

yes i do.. you would be surprised at the different types of birds come around, some that youve never seen before, or only seen a couple times.

Me too! That way we get to see the migratory backyard birds! Dark-eyed Juncos only pass this way (So. Cal.) in the fall and they're so much fun to watch.

Yes, not only bird seed, but I save my stale bread for them too.

Yeah, course. That is when you are meant to feed them as there is little for them to eat.
