Auditions for what? Stage shows, TV, movies, singing groups, commercials?
What part of Georgia are you in, and what do you consider "near"? Savannah, to my mind, is not near Columbus...
Now, not knowing your credentials, I'm tempted to say "if you have to ask, you're not ready." That is to say, if you were prepared for a career as a performer, part of the preparation would have been to learn how to locate the auditions.
So I'm presuming you're currently an amateur. That's not an insult, we all were at some point.
As an amateur, you should work at your own level. To find nearby amateur theatre auditions, go to your local library and read bulletin boards and ask librarians, read your local newspaper (and scan the want ads), find online classified ads (like Craig's list), call nearby college theatre departments (they'll often hold auditions open to non-students).
If you're interested in building a career in the performing arts, then you need to get educated. Usually that's accomplished by attending a university that offers a bachelor of fine arts degree in theatrical performance. Not only does such a program polish your skills and teach you the language of the biz, but it grounds you with the knowledge of how the biz works, including where and how to audition.

Take a look at the Southeast Theatre Conference website:
http://www.setc.org/auditions/spring.asp
One of the things you'll find there is a list of all the theatre companies who attended the 2007 SETC auditions. If you can't make it to the auditions in Chattanooga next March, maybe you can find theatres closer to you on that list and find out when they're holding their own auditions.
Not everybody who applies to SETC and other group auditions (the Unified Professional Theatre Auditions in Memphis, for example) gets accepted. They often require a certain amount of training or professional experience. If you're just getting started, you might want to focus on auditions for plays at your school, or at local colleges and community theatres. The more experience you have under your belt, the better your chances of getting a spot at a professional audition.
