By saying stink things about high level political figures, you can encourage others to acts of violence and murder against such people. If you merely suggest publicly that President Bush should be murdered or if you make such a declarative statement, you can be arrested. That's how serious this matter is.

In countries like Iraq and China, people don't make such statements.

It is only in our own nation (US) that crazies murder heads of state.

Are Americans truly good people?

"In countries like Iraq and China, people don't make such statements."

As far as you know.
And do you know why people in those countries don't make such statements like that? Think really hard about this. It'll come to you eventually.

"It is only in our own nation (US) that crazies murder heads of state."

This may make the Top 10 for one of the dumbest things I've ever read on here. And that's quite an accomplishment. Please, for the love of anything sacred, read a history book before you say something like that.

The term American is not synonomous to "good" or "evil".
Neither are the terms French, German, English or Dutch.
The term American is synonomous to freedom.
Some people know the value and the price of freedom and some don't. Because some countries do not afford their citizens the freedom to speak their own mind does not make them better. It makes them less free.
The second amendment gives Americans the right to bear arms but that does not mean every American is responsible enough to do so.
There are bad people and good people throughout the world. Some are free and some are not.

Some never realize the value of their own situation

No nation should be catagorised good or bad .

America, like all nations is made up of both good and bad.

A Nations people should not be tarred with the same infamy of their leaders despite the fact that they may have voted them in after being fed a diet of propaganda.

Election irregularities compound this.

Americans are OK. They do seem to be a bit self absorbed. As a neighbour of them I find that they are tough to take sometimes, but they are human. Just because they say they are the best doesn't mean that for the rest of us. I always judge people on how they treat their weakest and America's record doesn't do itself any favours in this regard. America may taste good but has no taste.

i don't think it's right to judge people as whole. you have to judge someone as an indivuial. so you'll find good and bad Americans. just like you find good and bad Europeans. or good and bad Arabs
