Not so.
The ancestors of winged insects are winged insects.

You may find evolutionists telling us just-so stories about how they think it may have happened, but there is no evidence whatsoever to support them.

For a wingless insect to evolve wings would require a huge increase in genetic information. The proposed mechanism is mutations. But all observed mutations are information neutral or lossy.

The evidence around us clearly points to creation.

The ancestors of winged insects were actually aquatic insects. It may seem strange at first, but the structures that evolved into insect wings were originally gills for breathing underwater! It seems that at first they weren't used for flying but for skimming on the water surface. Mayflies and stoneflies still do this, and their larvae have gills that may give you a good idea of what the insect proto-wing looked like.

(Also, please try to ignore the creationists. Just because they can't fathom God using evolution to create and shape life doesn't mean God has to agree with them. ;))

Fossils show that many insects have not changed much at all over the years. Some species of dragonflies and centipedes used to be significantly larger than their modern day counterparts but their bodies still look like modern centipedes and dragonflies.

They looked like Winged Insects and nothing else. Evolution is deceit. Read the books of Harun Yahya against Evolution and darwanism, for verified proof.
