Totally normal. I used to get nose bleeds if I laughed too hard - talk about embarrassing! I don't think there is anything in the world like the tired you feel during a pregnancy - I used to call it "bone aching tired". I felt it ealier than that and was done by 24 weeks, but I suppose it can be different for everyone. You may want to call your doctor and get your iron level checked. I know that was around the time when I had to take additional iron supplements. Good luck to you!!

One thing I noticed as you get bigger, if you lay on your back you may not be able to breathe through your nose because you can't take a deep enough breath. The pressure of everything laying flat on you is probably too much. I have to lay on my side and wake up on my back breathing through my nose and snoring because I am not getting enough air. I also have sinus problems though. I would just suggest laying on your side and if you still are having to breathe through your mouth talk to your doctor and see what they suggest. Good luck.

I've been stuffy for the past week or two (only at night) and I'm only 16 weeks. I read that when you are pregnant, this is one of the things that happens - you get cold symptoms and it lasts throughout your pregnancy and it has something to do with the pressure.

First DO NOT USE NOSE SPRAY unless it has been recommended by your med Dr. OTC nose spray can be VERY harmful to your unborn baby. Congestion is a common symptom of pregnancy and unfortunately you just have to deal with it. Most books say its ok to use a saline solution nose spray but even then I would ck with my Dr. Whoever told you to use a strong nose spray should shake their head and get their info right before giving harmful advice.

sounds like sinus troubles, which I am well aware of, being long time suffer. Can either be cause to a allergen or things like pollops in the sinuses, go talk to a doctor. Does not sound like it is pregnant related, as face it you carry the baby in the stomach not the nose. Anyway it is sinus related, and only a proper examination by a ENT can help you with this
