i always drive and then drink....

I drive to the L store and then go home and drink . Thought you had us ?

It's already legal to drive and 'then' drink!
You just can't drive "after" you drink!

you' ll be ok as long as you don't go out for a drive after you've had that drink after you've got back home from driving without having a drink

yes as when you drink it slows down reaction times which could lead to a huge crash which would injury's people who are innocent and it would be the drunk drives fault but thats if u intend to drive back afterwards

It is in some states... Some states actually allow an open container and have a higher limit of allowed intoxification.

Yep just make sure when you stop to get that drink you hand your keys to some 1 else first and tell them NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS DO NOT GIVE ME MY KEYS OR ANY 1'S FOR THAT MATTER you will be just fine.
