I had unprotected sex with my long-term boyfriend 2 weeks ago and the day after i had the odd itch inside my vagina, nothing bad or unbearable, just like a tickle or something occasionally during the day. It's not red and there's no difference in discharge, actually i've had a little bit less discharge than normal i guess. Is this normal?

We did have A LOT of sex (some was a bit rough) to the point where i was too dry to carry on, could it be a tear in the inside that causes it?
I guess it's possible to be a STD but long-story short it's really HIGHLY unlikely, still?
I don't think it's bad enough to be thrush?

Rough sex can cause an overgrowth of fungus or bacteria which normally reside in the vagina. You could have mild thrush which may clear up on its own. I would suggest you wear cotton underwear, loose clothing (not tight jeans), unperfumed pH balanced soap, to make the environment less likely to support multiplication of the fungus/bacteria. I recommend seeing a doctor to rule out an STD too.

No, the itching that you are noticing is not normal. Itching can be a symptom of a yeast infection. The only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation to see what they think is going on.
