i have a amd sempron 1.6 ghz processor.and most of the games need more than 2.0 ghz as minimum requirements.so will this problem be solved if i upgrade my sytem with a graphics card.will a nvidia 7300 do?

Cheapest option would be to overclock that processor to 2.0Ghz then install a 7300GT ddr3. Do not get the 7300GS or any card with ddr2. They are cheap but also slow. The 7300GT should be able to handle many games at low settings.

No, the graphics card won't help if the processor can't keep up. You can try the game anyway but it might run a bit slow or you can reduce the quality a bit.

Nope . It's all about the slowest link in the chain , upgrade your cpu and or motherboard :)
