And how did you you find it? I hate math. Like whats the equation?

10% is one of the friendly ones, lol. I'm sure it's already been answered, but for $349.99, all you do is move the decimal point one space to the left. That ONLY works for 10%. That's a short cut as opposed to dividing 349.99 by .10.
Another example (just to show the consistency) would be 10% of $6,485.50 would be $648.55...one space to the left.

convert 10% to decimal by moving two decimalplaces to the left then multiply it to the given value which is 349.99 and it will turn out to be $34.999

0.1 x $349.99 = 34.999

It's simple.
10/100*349.99
=3499.9/100
=$34.999

So the answer is $34.999

10% is always the easiest. Just delete the last digit and move the decimal point one place to the left. 10% of $349.99 = $34.99.

10% of $349.99 = 10*$349.99/100
= $34.999 = $35

Multiply 349.99 by .1 (see the decimal point)

.1 = 10%
.07 = 7%
.01 = 1%
etc.

To find 10% of a number, you can either multiply by .10 or, and this one only works for 10%, move the decimal point over one spot to the left.

Either way, the answer you get is 34.999, but since we're dealing with money, you can only have two decimal places so you have to round up and you get $35.00
