If it were really raining cats and dogs, I would grab my mattress and put it outside to save as many cats and dogs as I could, because all animals have a right to have their feet (paws, hoofs etc) on the ground and to not be falling from the sky.

id pick up the cutest puppy and the cutest kitten!

that expression actually came from a time when there were loads of floods (in England i think, years ago) and most of the cats and dogs were left by there owners and drowned, then they would float on the surface of the water and in residential areas where there were loads of pets, it would look like a sea of cars and dogs, so it looked like they all fell from the sky!! but you didn't know that!!

I'd go out and play with them. Nothing like playing with dogs and cats to make you smile. Nothing like it for getting a good perspective on things.

I would need to have a bunch of aspirin around because of the headache I might get from all the barking and meowing that would occur, and I would also pick out some of them to take to my house to be part of my family.

I would give the cats to the SPCA and give the dogs to the blind foundation so they can have more guide dogs for the blind.
