As a father of 4, I've never heard anything about watermellon dangers. However, you should know about the dangers of corn!
You know how when you eat corn and go poop the next day and, well, there's the corn? We were not aware of the dangers of eating corn in the third trimester with our first child. She was born with corn kernals imbedded in her skin all over her body.
The doctors recommended immediate removal. The danger occurs when you bath a corn infested baby then put them to bed in a dark room. The corn kernals, since they are the seeds of the corn, will germinate after being "watered" and placed in a dark place. Roots will grow into the babies body. If left long enough, stalks will begin to protrude from your baby and I suppose, eventually, you'll have a crop of corn.

My mom craved watermelon like crazy when she was pregnant with me, so I'm pretty sure it should be all right. The only sort of fruit I would imagine to take it easy on would be acidic things like limes and lemons. Otherwise, east all the watermelon you want!

Gee I hope it's ok.
I ate watermelon like it was going out of fashion in my last pregnancy and gave birth to 2 healthy twin boys. However this pregnancy I can't stand it. I prefer Banana's.

There is no reason why you can't eat watermelon during your pregnancy. Watermelon is good for you and has an abundance of lycopenes and is a natural diuretic.

I've never heard otherwise. Its a fruit and fruits are great for you while you're pregnant. I can't imagine that there is anything unhealthy about watermelon. Eat as much as you'd like. There's no calories, not saturated fats, no carbohydrates.... fruits and veggies are always a plus.
