I think heard is the collective noun for pigs, but dont think it would apply to hedgehogs. Grunt or snuffle might be more appropriate

Array and prickle seem to be the accepted terms, but I rather like 'bristle', which I have seen suggested on another forum, and what about 'a spike of hedgehogs'?
