well, i have been getting many critizized thoughts about my writing skills. If you must know i have diffuclety writing very well as all of you would expect simply because my mind proccess to much info. and it is fairly complex for my fingers to keep up. its like quantum mechanics. if one decides to explain each equations and problem in words it would be more detaled . but scientist like my dad dont they explain verbally and show work mathmatically. numbers are faster than words for the anser of the paradox i brought up. i am correct i know so. at the time i wrote this i was at a 2 minitute point before my favirite tv show came up. well i hope this cleared up the perdiciment of my writing. i also know 4 languages (spanich, chinese, japanses, and french) so memorizing the languge makes english hard. espicaly since in my confinement with no privecy the main languge is spanich. THANKS FOR THE ANSWERS I ENJOY READING THEM.
:-p

1. make sure you are getting enough sleep.

2. If you have to, find a way to expand (on paper or in your head) about the topics that the teachers are discussing. If it's a math class for example, keep your mind busy by working on more complex problems.

If it's a literature class, find ways to compare the literature to more complex books/characters, work on learning the latin bases to words to expand your vocabulary.

Studying a foreign language? Try to translate what the teacher is saying into the other language. You'll have to pay attention in order to keep up. All of this takes work, and a desire to be awake and attentive. But they are methods to keep you going.

Think about how you would explain the same topic/concept to someone struggling in your class.

3. I'm presuming that your spelling is poor due to typing it into the computer. If not, that's a great way to "pay attention" - work on taking notes and getting the words spelled correctly. Teach yourself the "rules" for getting the more common words correct, and mnemonics for remembering the less common words.

4. It does sound like you ought to be exploring the options for the "highly gifted" - usually considered kids who are ready to be 2+ grade levels above their age. I suggest googling the phrase "highly gifted Ohio" to see what comes up.

Good luck! Things should be better in high school where you can choose more of your classes and maybe have a more sympathetic principal.

Now that you're in 8th grade, there should be more options of classes that you can take, honors classes for example. You might also talk to your counselor about the possibility of doing an independent study course on a topic that you really like. Is going to a private school an option for you? Talk to your parents and your school counselors.

No teacher in their right mind would let you skip a grade, you can't even string together a few words into a proper sentence.

I am sorry, I can't believe you were allowed to skip grades not knowing how to spell. If this is really true, all the teachers responsible for it should be fired including the principle.

Improve your English before skipping. Skipping grades apparently was not good for you.
