Why not be creative and come up with your own name for your baby? For instance, my wife and I really liked the name Melina, but I couldn't bear the thought of people calling her Mel for short (no offense intended to any girls out there called Mel). So we got creative and changed the spelling from Melina to Malena and now we and everyone else calls her Lena for short. It's your baby, why not give her YOUR name. One you created just for her? When she grows up she will feel special knowing that you created her name just for her, because no "run-of-the-mill" name was good enough for her. Again, no offense intended to those out there that have "run-of-the-mill" names...like me! lol

Just remember that whatever name you choose, the child will have it for the rest of his/her life. Choose wisely.
