If you can not connect then how will you get the answers?
I would suggest calling your provider and let them know of you difficulties connecting.

Go to Tools
Internet options
Connections
LAN Settings and check the box that says
"Automatically detect settings"
Another way is to go to Start-Run-Cmd-
in the black box type ipconfig /release
Enter
then
ipconfig /renew
Enter
This will give you a good IP address
The only other thing is to check if the cable is plugged in and the light is gree
This is in the back
If it's not plugged in, Plug it in
If it is plugged in then do the first procedure on this answer
