They feel wonderful against your body, BUT... they're always cold, they always end up in a pile in the middle of the bed, they don't stay put and the worst thing is when you go to grab your pillow it just shoots out from between your arms.

The nice feeling doesn't offset the negatives... besides they aren't really satin... just pure polyester. Give me Egyptian cotton any day.

Satin Sheets to lie on, satin sheets to cry, still I'm not happy can't you see?
Sorry made me think of an old song

no, I slide all over the dang place and do more pillow chasing than sleeping when I had a set!

Yes! I even included them in a poem about vampire sex in honor of Halloween!

*Ahem*

"Red satin sheets
against flesh so pale
gripping the arms of,
her undead male.

And with a growl,
he catches her lips,
nipping her tongue
and caressing her hips"

I am probably the only woman alive that absolutely hates satin and all the silky materials that are sisters to the fabric....they make me itchy, and I guess I might be allergic....but let's face it, you CAN slide off the bed and they do stain.

I've never slept on them but I prefer cotton. Satin for a pillow case is good for kinky hair.

Like the song goes:

Satin sheets are very romantic, but what happens when you're not in bed?

I like the feel of them, but not to lay on or wrapped around me to sleep.
However, they are nice to clean up the spilled blood from my sickle of death.
