You are misguided in your assumption. Fascism is more closely akin to socialsim as it relies on a large government bureacracy and limiting peoples choices. It would actually be closer to the new democrat philosophy. Open borders, myriad entitlement/welfare programs and punishing those who are successful via higher taxation are ways of controlling the populus. Currently the 15% who represent the highest paid in the U.S. foot nearly 75% of the tax burden. Recent proposals from both the senate and house of representatives are aimed at increasing the taxable income of the middle class as well. It is a platform that seems common among the left-wing extremists who now dictate to liberal/democrat congressmen/women. Please take the time to do some research in the future.

For the same reason that the Democrats want it. Because they are horrible, or at least, most of them. Because it, like communism, puts them in complete control with no obligation to protect the individual or the rights of the individual, and it affords no check to their authority or limit to their greed.

Actually, you know nothing about global history or geo politics. A fascist state, run benignly, is a great form of government. Study Spanish history when Francisco Franco took over and how he fixed the huge mess that you communists had made there over the course of his 46 year reign. Study pre world war 2 Germany, Italy, and Japan and you will see that their facist states overcame the global depression more quickly than communist Russia or socialists like Franklin Roosevelt and Neville Chamberlain (only rampant militarism doomed the Axis powers).
