Well, I took Drivers Education in high school. but if you're already out of high school you go to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and you take a written test which is basically a test of the different signs on the road, how much you get fined and what punishment you will get if you do certain stupid stuff like drinking and driving....stuff like that. then, you take the driving test which is where you will drive an instructor around and do what they tell you to do. They'll grade you on how you did. If you did good, they'll tell you right there and you can get your license.

The tests arent hard but it is a good idea to study.

Unfortunately, it's ridiculously easy to get a license in most US states. That's why there are so many idiots driving on the streets in America.

What state will you live in?

Each state has it's own Bureau of motor vehicles, and different ways of applying for licenses.

Do a google search for "BMV" and the state.
