You can live with that salary but it would be a struggle.

Imagine this:

Sharing Accomodation (1 room) is Dhs. 3,500/month. Then Electricity and Water and Sewarage Share of Dhs. 450/month. Then Food Allowance for the Family of around Dhs. 3,500/month. Then conveyance costs (taxi only no bus in Abu Dhabi), then dine out once in a while, then Medical of the family (oppsss).

Good thing you have a 2-yr old child, just imagine the following year when the child shall be going in a nursery... another Dhs. 1,300/month.

And lastly .. please ensure that you are going to receive your salary at least by the 3rd or 4th of the month, otherwise - you will be shocked that most of the construction companies do not release their employees salary in 2-3 months. Worst, they are not good paymasters.... and to top it all, you will hardly feel the salary raise (if they are going to give you at least once every 2 years).

Now you do the Math bai.... hard isn't it ?

Probably you can bargain more to at least Dhs. 13-14K

Ingeneral it is very difficult to lead acomfortable family life with this salary. Accomodation is the real problem here and you have to spent at least 60-70,000 AED pa for single bedroom accomodation and still hardly available. At present what is your earnings? and where you live? As per my view do not accept this offer unless they are including accomadation and childrens education in your package.

Abu dhabi cost of residing is extremely severe....you wont be able to live to inform the tale with that pay in case you'll deliver your spouse alongside with you... With that qualification you should be getting a minimum of one million.5 circumstances the gross sales you're presented so attempt to barter you wont be able to satisfy your leads to that pay ignore about saving!

AED 10,000 plus accommodation would be great.... but having a child here or a family... i think it is not practical (i am single, living in Dubai). Accommodation here is not that good for a family. So good luck! try to bargain... employers wil understand if you really have a good qualification.
