Acaras and Angels are fine together, but you will need an adequately sized tank... At around 8 inches, you're gonna want to give the Acara a tank no less than 55 gallons. A heavily planted 55 gallon tank with a small school of Angels (5) and a pair of Acara would be a spectacular sight. Festivums, Rams, Apistos, and Kribensis are also great Cichlid choices to keep with Blue Acaras and Angels... Contact me if you have any questions.

EDIT: Keyhole Cichlds are great, and won't bother or be bothered by Acaras or Angels at all...

Blue Acara are not really very aggressive. Angelfish are likely more aggressive than the acara.
This being said, which do you already have? If you are introducing the acara to the tank, make sure they are similar in size to the angels and/or introduce them in pairs.

My angels do okay with chiclids and they are a lot bigger than all of the other fish in the tank.
You just have to be careful with them and be prepared to move them if they fight.
