No they are not even close. The three best who are currently running are Gravel, Kucinich, and Paul. The reason they are not getting the publicity is because they are not owned and controlled by corporate interests, and are therefore far better choices for the people. An honest, hard working, tell it as it is, bright person would never get elected. Americans want to be pandered to for their vote. We don't want someone to walk in and make the hard choices or to tell us what we don't want to hear. The good people go to the private sector where they don't need to wear waders to make it through the crap everyday. Besides, who wants the press reporting every time you have to take a piss?

Absolutely NOT!!!....but because of the campaign of personal destruction that happens when a person runs most people who would make great presidents decide to stay private..Why would anyone in their right minds want to put themselves and their families through that?...they dig up every bad thing you've ever done...and if you are a republican they are used against you...just like satan does...the great accuser...throws things that happened 30 yrs in the past at them in an effort to humiliate and destroy that persons convictions of today.....and if that person is a dem, it is usually ignored, but its always there just in case that dems wants to step out of line..in that case it just MIGHT be used against the dem.......
