What do you think are mind abilities such as telepathy and empathy real?

Or can they be developed, does anyone have these abilities?

Telepathy is less likely than empathy. Most people consider empathy a trait or even a skill. Telepathy is a special power that few can prove they have.

Well, allegedly, people in my family are prone to having such abilities. I even show signs of what's often termed telepathy or even precognition. My sisters and mom tend to do this frequently as well.

Knowing something which seems like it should be impossible to know by normal means. My sisters and mother truly believe there is something supernatural behind it. But, what I believe is that it's all a product of subconscious deductions a person makes. They've unconsciously compared their current situation to past situations, and concluded there will probably similar outcomes. It's a little like what Sherlock Holmes does, accept without explaining how the conclusion was reached.

I think this ability can be developed, by paying attention to detail, and perhaps even playing puzzles or games that require memory or quick thinking? Also, knowing a bunch of random trivia information sometimes helps... Studying people's reactions to various situations and familiarizing yourself with subtle nuances of non-verbal communication will definitely help. I think possibly if one does this consciously rather than attributing it something mysterious or beyond their control, they will likely be even better at it. Good luck! ^_^

Telepathy does not exist, however over time you may begin thinking the same way another does if you are around them a lot. Empathy is not a skill, empathy is the ability to understand and care about the affect an occurence will have on another. It is basically being able to say, I wouldn't want anyone to do this to me so I won't do it to them and being able to have compassion for another when bad things happen to them. Empathy is real, and I believe everyone has the power to use it, however most don't because they are greedy and power hungry. ;-)

i think some people have telepathy, that it may be possible to increase a minor ability to a stronger one.

However, i also believe that MOST people who claim to be telepathic or psychic are not.

well empathy definitely is real .....it's more of a skill which not many people have and it ables them to recognize what other people are feeling...and they can also feel their feeling's........
telephaty is paranormal....with it you can basically read peoples mind and transfer informations through mind, to another person
