I read an article in the news that said some retailers are not letting their store Santa's say "Ho Ho Ho" because it has another meaning that is negative towards women. I'm dead serious. Wish I would have saved the link to that article.
I'm so sick of everything offending everyone. I, personally, am not that sensitive and am not offended with others way of life. BUT I am now offended that people are getting to offended by old american traditions.
It's making me mad!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

"Ho" is slang for whore. For those of you who can't think of what the other negative saying towards women was.

Jeez. What is this world coming to? Also now they want a black and a white Santa, which is silly because everyone knows Santa is white. the REAL Santa was white. It's just silly.
Not only are children realizing the truths of Christmas a lot younger but now they're ruining the old sayings. It's just pathetic.
If a fat man in a suit offends you by saying ho ho ho maybe you should close your legs and not be a hooooooe so that you will no longer be offended.

Well I must be really thick because I don't know what is the negative thing to do with woman and ho ho ho (maybe it's an american thing...) but I do know this stupidity drives me INSANE. INSANE I say. What about years ago, in NZ, the picture on blackcurrent jam (a black golliwog) was banned because it was racist towards negro people. Then golliwogs were banned altogether because of this. Oh and noddy and big ears got banned because they use to hide under the table together naked and then, therefore were gay so that was not appropriate for 5 year olds to be viewing HELLO! So what the heck if they were gay, who the heck cares, I don't. I don't care if you are black, white, gay, straight, tall, short, fat, thin, what does it matter! What drop dead dumb ass makes these decisions. FOrtunately noddy and big ears were able to come back, somewhat reformed, and no nakedness under the table thank you very much! So many situations like this, it's sheer stupidity. I've heard over here in Australia the talk about santa being banned in schools etc because some kids don't follow that. Well I just don't agree. It's an old australian tradition, it's what we do. I welcome opportunities to learn about other cultures, religions, beliefs and ways of life, sure, add some new things, we can all be educated but don't take away what has been part of us for so long, I feel we are losing our identity in this stupidity. Totally. So I get it and I am sure you will find you are not alone in your madness!

Christmas was ruined a long time ago by retailers and all the commercialism , but i totally agree with you and it also makes me mad to think that santas' HO HO HO can be changed....i certainly would not be a santa if i had to say HAHAHA

So then all Christians should become like Jehovah Witnesses and not celebrate any holidays period. Life is too short not to have fun and I am not giving up having fun with Halloween or Christmas either. I am Christian and I don't let it bug me. All our holidays have some pagan ties to it, save the politically correct ones. :)

I KNOW! I hate people who complain about stuff like that. They are making him say Ha Ha Ha.
By the way Santas cannot be fat past a certian point, they want to portray santa as a thin role model for kids. Morbid obesity is on the rise, so they do not want Santa to be fat anymore =(

What? Another meaning that is negative towards women? wtf? I have never heard of that one. That is so ridiculous! I would nevr be offended by Santa saying Ho Ho Ho. It is a way of him being happy and jolly, and it's a part of who Santa is.

Why is the Minority dictating to the Majority? BTW, I will not make any purchase from any store that does not allow their employees to say Merry Christmas. Happy holidays my butt, there are too many pathetic people out there trying to ruin it for all.
