Oh crap, I just realised how that sounded. No I'm not trying to get stars...I just wanted to thank a number of my contacts who make a point of starring everybody's questions. It's very kind of them!

I sure do, and I hate it when I forget to star. Usually I will go back when I get around to checking my answers and star the ones I missed. I figure if it was worth my time to answer, it deserves a star. I make one exception, and that is when the trolls seem to be out in force. I sometimes avoid starring a friends question because if I have picked up a troll or one is after one of my friends, I don't want to make it easier for them to track.

I also use stars to draw the attention of other people to an interesting question I might not be able to answer myself.
Stars are useful as well as rewarding.

I think it is way out of hand.
Some questions just ask"Will you star me"?
I guess it's symbolic of adultery.
