I went to a healthy babies group and i got my son weighed and he weighed in at 13lbs 2.5oz. He was 6 weeks early (born at 34 weeks gestation) and at birth he weighed 5lbs 13oz.
I was just wondering. This is all new to me again it's been awhile lol

It is a great weight. He is going to be a big baby boy though. One of my boys was born a week before that and weighed the exact same at birth. By 11 weeks he had more than doubled in size. He is now 7 and he has no weight problems, so don't worry.

That's an awsome weight for a baby born prematurely, He doubled his birth weight (something usually looked for at 6 months) As long as he his happy and heealthy you are doing a good job. It is obvious you love him dearly or you wouldnt be concerned with his weight. Besides chunky babies are so CUTE! Keep up the good work!

considering he was born early that is a great weight for him. I just checked my sons weight at 10weeks and it was 5.38kg which is 11.7pounds. (and he was born 8.2 pounds)
Your son is doing great! He's about 6 kg's, in our measurements which is fantastic for his age and starting weight!
