Grew up means. Physically I too grow as others. Sexually when I was just 16 and touched the breasts of a girl of my age and kissed her. Inteligentally I grew more than my age. Habitually I'm still a child. I refuse to grow and wish I'm child again. Facially also I'm not growing that much. I don't run after material world. I don't keep money. Other people handle money. Detachment with material world keeps me healthy and I'm completely at peace with myself. So my answer as that my growth is not related to age.

Hi Tinka! Long time, no chat! Good question; I would say for me, I was 23, doing well (management at a major airport) and was "asked to leave". Lots of debt, no job, found another (i'm still there) & thought "life really sucks". So, making CHANGES for the better, I found out life is what you make of it; by my late 20's- I accept everything as it IS, not as I would have it. At least I TRY to. Ok, there's my rant!

i think that it's different for everyone. there is always something that happens in your life that makes you realize you aren't a kid anymore or that you need to change and take responsibility. for me it was moving away out of state and going somewhere that i have never been. that happened when i was almost 20. some people grow up when they are teenagers and others in their 20's or 30's. it just depends on the person and their life. i know teenagers that are more grown up and mature then some of the adults that i know.

I grew up really young. I have had health issues all of my life, and my family sittuation is not the greatest. My younger sister, however, will always remain young. And I lover her for that. Often times, people will look down on her for her mental abnormalties, but that's what makes her special to us.

actually I'm still working on it....... I still feel like a child at heart.

BUT to answer your question,

I'd say the most life changing point in my life was 18.
When I left my parents house to live on my own.

along with it came a job, too many girl friends, 2 cats, 1000s of bills, clothes, furniture, car payments, groceries, gas, beer

and REALLY loud parties.

yup.

those where the days I grew up, esp when the police showed up to my loud parties......

all finally resulting in me seeing BARS....

jail tends to make you grow up quick.
